By car, Punta Sabbioni is reached via the road along Cavallino; paid parking near the embarkation in peak season. From Ca' Savio local buses connect Punta Sabbioni and other peninsula stops. If you camp here, plan the first Venice trip calmly: vaporetto queues are possible on summer weekends.

For those camping at Cavallino or Jesolo the airport is handy for arrivals and departures, with shuttles and taxis. Do not confuse temporary camper parking with camping: showers, pitches and power need a dedicated site.

Camping suits those who love outdoor life, the sea nearby and accept shared facilities. If you prefer a private shower, kitchen, washing machine and enclosed parking without pitching a tent daily, a mainland holiday home can cost less than a lagoon hotel with far more comfort than peak-season camping.

From Mogliano Veneto, for example, Venice is about 20 minutes by train to Venezia Santa Lucia, with independent houses and gardens. This is not a campsite or camper stop: Casa Lilla is a holiday home and, only by prior arrangement, may host a camper on unequipped space, without pitches or standard camping hook-ups. For visiting Venice without sleeping in a tent, this is a different alternative to seaside camping, not a replacement for a beach campsite.
